Holy Week Family Resources
When we gather at camp, we ground our days in worship. We start our day with a time of praise first thing in the morning. After a busy day of activity, we re-center ourselves in God’s presence in a Vespers service immediately after dinner. And then we revisit the daily theme in a worshipful spirit when we gather for campfire at the end of the day.
We know these are uncertain and anxious times for children, youth, and adults alike. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of our campers and their families as we navigate these uncharted waters.
As we move through this Holy Week, we thought it might be helpful to ground ourselves in God’s presence. Here is a resource for a family/household Vespers experience this evening - Maundy Thursday. The service include a time for centering, some music, a scripture passage, a brief reflection, questions for reflection, and prayer. Links are provided for the music in case you are unfamiliar with the songs. We will post resources for Good Friday and Easter morning also.
May you and your family be blessed as you move through this Holy Week, remembering the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whom we find hope even in uncertain times.
